Shiny Shoes

I was in the local town earlier this week and noticed the shoe shop had a half price sale on all boots. So Orla and I went in. I tried on all the nice boots in my size but they were rubbish - too dressy for me and not practical at all.

In the meantime Orla was jumping up on the chairs selecting which shoes she wanted.

So, I asked what they had in the sale in her size. They went to look. The assistant apologetically came back with one box. "This is all they have" she muttered. Well - they were gorgeous. A deep cherry red boot, really shiny and just lovely. Orla tried them on and they fitted perfectly. She ran around the shop testing them and was thrilled. And to top it all they are called 'Lola'.

Half price too - what a bargain.
