Well it is November 3rd and being cold I guess is going to be the norm from now until .... we move into our nice warm house. Trying not to think too much about moving at the moment as despite the huge list of things I really need to work my way through I can't do any of them until we are over one huge hurdle. Won't bore you with the details - but I really hope it gets sorted out soon as it is really stressing me out.
So - it's cold. I think all of the male members of the family have stinking colds. One is at home watching TV and dressing up as Buzz Lightyear but is so congested with thick green mucus that I am only assuming the school will not want him near them. DS1 is at school - and seemed happy enough to go this morning. He had a headache last night and took paracetamol for it. (He won't touch calpol with a barge pole). DD is off at nursery - fortunately I grabbed the childminder this morning and she took her up as DS2 was still in bed. DH is at work with the start of a nasty cold. Poor thing had to meet one of his bosses at 7am!!! this morning for breakfast so was up around 5 - fortunately for me I slept through the whole thing.
We have so little food in the house and can't go out because of DS2. If DH gets home at a sensible hour I may nip out to go to Asda and top up.
I don't have a cold - fortunately - just feeling a bit low as I am over-whelmed with the stuff I need to be doing but am resisting.
Sorry for the boring blog - not a lot to say today - I have some more exciting ones buzzing in my brain - but right now I need a cuppa - can I make you one?
