NaBloPoMo

NaBloPoMo - November is National Blog Posting Month. The idea is to blog every day for the whole month. I will point out now that I don't expect to achieve this as we have every intention of moving house mid-month.

So where do I begin? November is going to be a hectic month and today has been a busy start. I went to the amazing German delicatessan in Gullane for cake and coffee. I had the most decadent chocolate and pumpkin pie and a cup of tea. It was lovely sharing the morning with friends to celebrate a birthday. Lovely.

Unlike the weather which was shocking. I was very late back which was a bit rubbish for Martin as he was supposed to be going out to study. He went anyway - but of course it meant he didn't get as long as he needed and was late back here - in the middle of bedtime. Sorry hon!

Tomorrow I plan on starting a severe house de-clutter. I need to go through everything. There is simply no space or indeed need for all the stuff we have accumulated at the new house. I want to get rid of at least a quarter of our clutter. Martin has made a good start with thinning the books on the shelves. I plan on getting rid of all the nappies, baby clothes, feeding bras, maternity clothes, car seats, high chair and stuff that just fills boxes and boxes.

If I do need that stuff again then I can peruse eBay. Not making any statement here one way or the other - only time will play that one out.

Right - going to grab a cuppa and head to bed - reading a good book at the moment, and want to see what happens next. I won't tell you what it is as I may need to save that for a day when I can't think what else to blog about.
